Kamloops Community Band concert to celebrate springtime

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Community Band (KCB) will play host to its annual celebration of springtime with a concert on May 1.

Music in Bloom will get underway at 7:30 p.m. in the Kamloops Full Gospel Tabernacle, which will be “alive with the luscious sounds of wind band music, echoing the vibrant colors of nature’s blooming beauty,” according to a KCB press release.

The evening’s festivities will include the world premiere of a composition by composer Ryan Noakes, an ode to spring.

Tickets are on sale online now and can be purchased at the door.
