Adam Donnelly

Adam Donnelly has deep roots in the North Thompson Valley. He was born and raised in Clearwater, and grew up watching CFJC News, before spending 8 years living, working, and studying in Kamloops.

Adam graduated from BCIT's Broadcast and Media Communications program in 2013, and immediately took a job at CKPG News in Prince George. He worked for two years in BC's Northern Capital; when not working, Adam spent many hours at the rink as the Media Director for the BCMML's Cariboo Cougars. In August 2015, Adam moved back to Kamloops to join CFJC News, as a Videojournalist.

Adam's a passionate sports fan, who enjoys covering local teams. One the highlights of his career, so far, is calling play-by-play for the Men's and Women's Hockey tournaments, during the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Clearwater man finds unexplained stone mound near Wells Gray Park

CLEARWATER — Wells Gray Park and the Clearwater River Valley are rich in natural and human history. This spring, a long-time resident of the area close to the park made a discovery he believes pre-dates the first European settlers in the area, and he's hoping to find out more.

Kamloops U-16 boys going to B.C. fastpitch softball championships

KAMLOOPS — Fastpitch softball was once one of the most popular sports in the Thompson Valley.

In Kamloops alone, there were two leagues, with more than 16 teams between them.

Now, the numbers of athletes playing softball are dwindling, especially on the boys side.
