Adam Donnelly

Adam Donnelly has deep roots in the North Thompson Valley. He was born and raised in Clearwater, and grew up watching CFJC News, before spending 8 years living, working, and studying in Kamloops.

Adam graduated from BCIT's Broadcast and Media Communications program in 2013, and immediately took a job at CKPG News in Prince George. He worked for two years in BC's Northern Capital; when not working, Adam spent many hours at the rink as the Media Director for the BCMML's Cariboo Cougars. In August 2015, Adam moved back to Kamloops to join CFJC News, as a Videojournalist.

Adam's a passionate sports fan, who enjoys covering local teams. One the highlights of his career, so far, is calling play-by-play for the Men's and Women's Hockey tournaments, during the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Blazers Ingram and DePalma going to Hockey Canada camp this weekend

KAMLOOPS — Hockey Canada will be holding a Program of Excellance Goaltending camp in Calgary this coming weekend.

The camp brings together the best netminding talent in Canada, along with top instructors from throughout North America.

Volunteers give Ashcroft landmark a new look

ASHCROFT — From 1881 to 1884, 17,000 Chinese workers came to British Columbia to help build the Canadian Pacific Railway. They were paid less than their white counterparts, and often given the most dangerous tasks. During the construction, it’s estimated over 600 Chinese workers died.

Downtown Cap Team making city better, safer

KAMLOOPS — You’ve probably seen them walking the streets of downtown Kamloops, performing any number of duties that seem to fall under their purview - The CAP team - which stands for Customer Care and Patrol - is there to serve as ambassadors for the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Area.
