Adam Donnelly

Adam Donnelly has deep roots in the North Thompson Valley. He was born and raised in Clearwater, and grew up watching CFJC News, before spending 8 years living, working, and studying in Kamloops.

Adam graduated from BCIT's Broadcast and Media Communications program in 2013, and immediately took a job at CKPG News in Prince George. He worked for two years in BC's Northern Capital; when not working, Adam spent many hours at the rink as the Media Director for the BCMML's Cariboo Cougars. In August 2015, Adam moved back to Kamloops to join CFJC News, as a Videojournalist.

Adam's a passionate sports fan, who enjoys covering local teams. One the highlights of his career, so far, is calling play-by-play for the Men's and Women's Hockey tournaments, during the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Kamloops Storm weathering changes

KAMLOOPS — For the Kamloops Storm, like many junior hockey teams, change is a way of life.    Every year players graduate to the next level of hockey.    That brings in fresh faces to fill the void.

This season has seen even more change for the Storm ----- a change of home ice venue.

Spirit of Christmas graces the rails for another season in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Heritage Railway Spirit of Christmas rail tour kicked off its Christmas run on Friday. Engine 2141, the historic steam locomotive takes families on an enchanting ride to a bygone era of travel in Canada, and even has a few special visitors drop by.
