KAMLOOPS — Traditionally, the Ironman competition consists of three events: swimming, cycling and running a marathon.

Sunday at St. Paul’s Cathedral a different kind of Ironman triathlon was held. As you’ll see, the event wasn’t quite as gruelling but both competitors worked up quite a sweat while raising money for a number of organizations.

Thanks to donations from spectators at the event and watching on Facebook Live, the Ironman competition at St. Paul’s Cathedral met its fundraising goal of $1,000, which will be donated to a number of social ministries like Pit Stop and the Aboriginal Friendship Centre.
