Crews respond to truck engulfed in flames in Vernon

VERNON, B.C. — There was lots of flames as Vernon Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire in the Adventure Bay area of Okanagan Landing Sunday night.

Crews arrived on Foster Road just after 7:40 pm to find a Dodge truck heavily involved in fire.

The vehicle owner was on scene, and the cause of the fire was determined to be accidental

“Every day our team is training, preparing and responding to calls for assistance to protect the safety of our community,” says Vernon Chief David Lind. “This is an example of the good work our fire fighters provide.”
