Banff Mountain Film Festival to make stop in Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Mark your calendars film fans, because the Banff Mountain Film Festival is coming to Williams Lake. It will take place on December 4, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Gibraltar Room in the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex. The local audience will see a few award-winning films and crowd favourites that were entered into the festival. 

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour stops in more than 450 communities and 40 countries. This year’s tour features mountain sport, culture and environmental films. 

Some of the feature films featured at the event in Williams Lake include The Frenchy by Michelle Smith, Surviving the Outback by Michael Atkinson and Grizzly Country by Ben Moon, Shannon Ethbridge & Annie Nyborg.
