KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops developer says his purchase of the Kamloops Innovation Centre building at 348 Tranquille Road is just the start of an exciting revitalization for the block.

Joshua Knaak and Arpa Developments purchased the 1.5-acre parcel with plans to move the company into offices there alongside KIC.

Arpa’s plans include building improvements, but also include a larger development of the block that will include integration of technology and the arts.

Knaak says architectural renderings have been launched for an 80 to 90-room hotel and a residential component, as well.
