Cougars claw WolfPack in women’s soccer

CALGARY, AB — The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s soccer team gave up four goals in the second half and wound up falling 4-1 to the Mount Royal University Cougars in Canada West play Sunday (Sept 16). The match was played at Stadium field in Calgary.
The four goals were scored in an 11 minute span beginning in the 68 th minute.
Robyn MacDonald had two goals for Mount Royal. With singles coming from Haley Nicholson and Erin Holt.
Marisa Mendonca (4th year, midfield, Penticton, BC) scored in the 80th minute for Thompson Rivers. It was Mendonca’s second goal of the year.
