WATCH: Helicopter makes precision drop on Shovel Lake fire

KAMLOOPS — A video being shared on social media shows the precise nature of work being done to attack BC’s record wildfire season from the air.
The video, shot by Mark Williams, shows an Erickson S-64 helicopter dropping a load of water on a candling tree.
The tree is part of the area being burned by the massive Shovel Lake Fire north of Fraser Lake in northern BC.
Shovel Lake is one of the largest fires in the province, measuring in at more than 92,000 hectares as of Wednesday.
