CACHE CREEK — Motorists beware: a mudslide has closed Highway 97 in both directions from the junction with Highway 1, at Cache Creek to Clinton.
Detour routes are available on Highway 24 to Highway 5, Cache Creek to Highway 1.
No word yet on when the highway will reopen.
