Shed and hedge destroyed in Sahali fire

KAMLOOPS — Fire crews called out overnight to a fire in Aberdeen that destroyed a small shed and a hedge on Monmouth Drive.

Platoon Captain Dan Ferguson says the fire appears to have broken out in a vinyl shed, which burned very quickly and spread to a long stretch of cedar hedge that was at the edge of the property.

He says the shed and hedge created a substantial amount of flame for a short time before crews knocked it down.

No cause as yet. The shed was destroyed in the incident.
