PRINCE GEORGE — A sleeping bag, pillow, and book. That’s all first-year UNBC student Krish Karande has as he sleeps outside for five nights.

The three students, sleeping on cardboard outside the university doors, are raising money for youth homelessness through the ‘5 Days Campaign’.

“Just kind of experiencing the life of someone who has to live on the street, it was just something I had to try out to put things into perspective,” says Krish Karande, UNBC student.

The students are only eating food given to them by people passing by. They are outside from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am until March 23rd.
