Power outage in Pineview Valley area

KAMLOOPS — Update: According to BC Hydro, power has been restored.

Earlier: The power is out for about 1225 BC Hydro customers in southwest Kamloops this morning.

The lights went dark at about 10:15 a.m. in the area of Pineview Valley and Aberdeen.

According to the BC Hydro website, crews are investigating the cause and don’t have any estimates as to when the power will be restored.
