HOPE —    A tour guide is recovering in hospital after being hurled through the front window of a tour bus when it spun out of control yesterday on the Coquihalla Highway near Hope.

The guide was leading a group of 30 foreign students on the trip into the interior when the bus lost control in icy conditions.

None of the students was hurt and a second bus carried them on to their destination.

The crash closed the road for several hours but traffic was moving again by yesterday afternoon. (Global)
