KAMLOOPS — Ty Ronning’s second goal of the night would prove to be the difference for Vancouver, as the Giants beat the Blazers by a 5-4 score Saturday night at the Sandman Centre.

Ronning’s goal came with 7 seconds remaining in the second period, and just 19 seconds after Luc Smith cut the Vancouver lead to two after tipping in a Brady Reagan point shot past Giants goalie Todd Scott.

The Blazers would battle back. Jermaine Loewen scored his third goal in two nights off a nice feed in front from Nolan Kneen.
