Prolific offender from Kamloops arrested in Kelowna stolen car spree

KELOWNA — Three stolen cars later, Kelowna RCMP arrested two people passed out behind the wheel of one of them at the Kelowna golf club.

The man has been identified as Jesse Shawcross, a 37 year old prolific offender from Kamloops, who has a criminal record dating back to 1999.  He also had several outstanding warrants.

RCMP say Shawcross and a woman who was with him are being kept in custody until the courts deal with them.
