KAMLOOPS — Last fall we brought you the story of a local man who was hoping to bring gamers the next big social media platform. Today, the app – called Guild Book – is officially live, and available for download as of today.

The app provides a space for people playing a variety of games across every platform to connect and share videos, information, as well as message and chat with one another. Darryl Smeeton, the main brain behind Guild Book, says the app’s features should make it easier for those in the gaming community to connect.

Smeeton worked with a software company in California to do much of the coding on Guild Book, a process that took several months. Today, after months of testing, Guild Book officially went on the market, and is now available for android phones in the Google Play store.
