KAMLOOPS — Police are teaming up with the Kamloops-Thompson School District, Phoenix Centre and Interior Chemical Dependency Office to educate parents about drug use and harm reduction.

The agencies will present a free information session on the issue next week.

Panel discussions will be headed up by those four agencies, as well as Tk’emlups Te Secwepemc, Qwemstin Health Society, Child & Youth Mental Health and C&C Resources for Life.

The event will also include a full hour on information about naloxone, the drug that has been essential in reversing the effects of opioid overdoses.
