Heat win, Storm lose in KIJHL action Friday

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm first game of 2017 was a 2-1 double overtime loss to the Revelstoke Grizzlies.

The Storm opened the scoring in the first period, taking a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes. Dallas Otto scored the goal.

There was no scoring in the middle frame, but in the third, Dylan McNeil got the tying marker to send the game into overtime, and early in the second overtime, McNeil scored again to give Revelstoke the victory.

Storm will host 100 Mile in a 5:00 PM start Sunday afternoon at the Memorial Arena.
