KAMLOOPS — With less than a week less before Christmas, a local agency is busy delivering hampers to families in need, but is also needing more donations leading up to the big day.

More than 250 Christmas hampers were either delivered or picked up over the weekend at the Fortune Shopping Centre, and with just six days until Christmas Day, there's still about a thousand hampers to go out.

The greatest need for Christmas Amalgamated is food — anything for a holiday feast — turkey and the fixings.

You can drop off food donations at its location in the Fortune Shopping Centre. You can also call Sally Whitson at 376-0777.
