Lenarduzzi sees World Cup future for Canada

KAMLOOPS — It’s been 30 years since Canada played in its first and so far only men’s World Cup of soccer.

Canadian soccer icon Bob Lenarduzzi was on that team.

Lenarduzzi, the president of the Vancouver Whitecaps, was in Kamloops Thursday for the WolfPack scholarship breakfast.

Despite the recent failures in the qualifying process, Lenarduzzi feels we are on the right track to get back to the World Cup.
