KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for a suspect after a frightening theft at the Safeway Gas Station on the North Shore.

Staff Sgt. Robert Daly said the robbery took place around 10:30 last night, Aug 16. A man demanded cigarettes and cash from two employees working at the time.

“The Safeway gas bar was robbed at knife point by a lone male who entered the store and got away with an undetermined amount of money whilst riding a bike,” he said.

Daly said no one was hurt, but the employees were shaken.
