Kamloops man goes to great heights for wedding proposal

KAMLOOPS — It was just another Friday afternoon for most employees in Downtown Kamloops, including Kelsey O’Bray, a Lawyer at HMZ Law.

Little did Kelsey know, a three hour meeting late in the afternoon with her boss on a Friday would turn into something she would never forget, for all the right reasons.

She entered the meeting, and a surprise appeared outside the 6th floor window – her boyfriend Brandon Lazar, a window cleaner by trade was there with a question to ask, “will you marry me?”

As you can see in the video below, the answer was exactly what he was after.

Brandon Lazar said the whole stunt took about three months to plan, “the difficult part was actually that is was all mirrored glass. The only thing that I could see was a faint ‘yes’ sign at the very end, thankfully.”

Lzar did have someone inside the building on a call, so he could hear what was happening.

“I feel like you owe it to yourself, and those around you to highlight the good in life. There is a lot of negativity, so you might as well use these momentous occasions as an opportunity to create a great memory to look back on.”
