CACHE CREEK —  Mounties hope someone in BC can help them find a stolen pickup truck that was towing a car trailer loaded with a unique, modified jeep.

The truck, trailer and jeep vanished from outside the Sandman Inn at Cache Creek early Tuesday morning, as the Oregon owner was staying at the hotel.

Ashcroft RCMP say the two-tone blue over grey 2006 Ford F-250 supercab, 5 1/2-metre flat deck trailer and the heavily modified green 2009 Jeep Wrangler all had Oregon licence plates.

Since the theft, police say there have been unconfirmed reports on social media that the truck, trailer and Jeep have been seen in central and northeastern BC — and they want to hear from anyone who spots any of the vehicles.
