KAMLOOPS — Many riders who aspire to get to where Catharine Pendrel is, on the World Cup circuit, were in Kamloops this weekend.

The Kamloops Bike Ranch played host to the annual “Race The Ranch” downhill mountain bike event — over 200 athletes came from B.C. and Alberta to ride the course and compete in the event.

Of course not all have World Cup or Olympic aspirations — because as Adam Donnelly found out mountain biking is a sport that appeals to a wide variety of athletes.
