Police locate human remains in Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM, B.C. — Four days after human remains were located, Salmon Arm RCMP are now updating the public.

Police, along with the BC Coroners Services were called to 6th Street NE on May 20th, which led them to the discovery of the remains.

The partially decomposed body was located down an steep, unused trail, according to a news release.

Officials have yet to positively identify the remains, and note that it could take some time as they will need to consult with DNA analysis.
