Mother’s Day at the BC Wildlife Park

KAMLOOPS — It can be a thankless job; long hours, labour-intensive, and little to no pay. Yet people still seem willing to take the job. Yesterday was Mother’s Day, so we went to the BC Wildlife Park to speak with some Mom’s about the special day, and why they do what they do.

Mother’s Day is a that one day when we stop, and take the time to thank Mother’s in our lives for all the little things they do make our lives better.

Caroline Bradford’s kids cooked for her. “We had a wonderful brunch at home, and I got lots of present’s and flowers,” Bradford said.

For Tanya Lamarche, her husband and five year-old son found a special present. “They went and got me a rock waterfall fountain,” Lamarche told CFJC Today.
