Kamloops leaders to learn from the best at Leadercast

KAMLOOPS — Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computers. Head Football Coach of the University Of Alabama, Nick Saban. Legendary CBS broadcaster, James Brown. They’ll all be taking part in a leadership conference happening in Kamloops on Friday.

Unfortunately. none of these leaders will actually be in Kamloops. They’ll be taking part via live stream over the internet. The event is called Leadercast, and Kamloops Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Deb McClelland is excited. “We’re really, really thrilled to be hosting it again this year,” McClelland told CFJC Today.

“Leadercast is a series of speakers that are going to be sharing their leadership principles with us, that day,” McClelland said. “Very inspiring people, just very exciting stuff you take away that day and apply to your own life.”

The event is an opportunity for local leaders in the Kamloops community to learn from some of the best in the world, in their respective fields. The event begins Friday, May 6th at 7:00am at the TRU Barber Centre.
