KAMLOOPS — A 44 year old local man is facing a list of charges after a traffic stop in the downtown early this morning.
RCMP say the man was driving a pickup truck when it sped past an unmarked police vehicle.
After the Mountie pulled the man over and determined he was a prohibited driver, the officer searched the truck and found a loaded 12 gauge sawed-off shotgun.
The officer placed the man under arrest and searched him, finding a stash of meth and heroin in the crotch of his pants.
