KAMLOOPS — Another major outage for B.C. Hydro overnight.

Power went off to parts of Dufferin, Sahali and the Notre Dame industrial area just after 11 last night.

Hydro attributes the problem to an equipment failure.

Just under 600 customers were affected. Power was back on just after 1:00 AM. But then just after 3:00 AM, power went out to about 2400 customers in an area south of St. Paul Street, North of Whiteshield Crescent, West of the Trans Canada and east of Summit Drive.
