Heat quell playoff Storm

KAMLOOPS — Eight years ago Brad Fox was behind the bench of the Revelstoke Grizzlies in one of the most memorable games in the history of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.

It was a playoff game against the Kamloops Storm that went to a record five overtimes before Austin Goode scored the game winner in a 1-0 Storm win.

For a while last night Fox, now the head coach of the Chase Heat, must have been wondering if this was going to be deja vu all over again.

Another game against the Storm in a playoff series —- another one that went deep into a multiple overtime period.
