KAMLOOPS — B.C. is 1-and-1 in the pre-tournament qualifying round at the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship.

The Karla Thompson rink won 8-4 over the Yukon this morning.

Thompson will play 2-and-0 Northwest Territories later today and will need a win there to stay in the mix that will send one of four rinks to the 12-rink main draw.

Nunavut, which upset B.C. last night, is also at 1-and-1, while the Yukon is 0-and-2.
