Yellowhead highway now open following serious collision

MCLURE, B.C. — Highway 5, the Yellowhead Highway is now open to single lane alternating traffic 20 kilometres South of Barriere following a serious motor vehicle incident.

The incident involved a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle.

Unconfirmed reports say there was at least one fatality.

Witnesses report to CFJC Today that a coroner attended the scene.
