Where to dispose of your real Christmas tree

KAMLOOPS — With Christmas festivities winding down, residents are reminded of a number of locations where they can dispose their real Christmas trees.

Glen Farrow is the Environment Services Manager, with the City of Kamloops and says the most popular drop off locations are at the yard waste sites on Bunker Road, the Barnhartvale Landfill and Cinnamon Ridge. 

Please ensure your tree is clean of any wires, tinsel, decorations, or plastic. 

You can drop off your Christmas tree at these locations:

Brocklehurst Park, 2470 Fleetwood Avenue
Cinnamon Ridge Compost Facility
