New Life Community seeking Christmas donations

KAMLOOPS — New Life Community Kamloops is appealing to the public for donations, to help put on a Christmas dinner for their clients.

Every year hundreds of the city’s most needy pack into New Life for the annual Christmas meal, a holiday dinner with all the fixings. Turkey, ham, potatoes, vegetables, and dessert is served up.

New Life is a haven for a hot meal, and more and more people are taking advantage.

This year, the shelter has seen a sharp increase in the number of clients, many of them new faces.
