Sa-Hali wins gold at "AAA" volleyball provincials

KAMLOOPS - The Sa-Hali Sabres have won the B.C. girls "AAA" volleyball championship.

Sa-Hali defeated Powell River 3-1 in the final.

In dropping the second set it was the only blemish on the Sabres record, after sweeping their first three matches to get to the final.

Sa-Hali's Kate Ludvig was named the tournament MVP.

Sawyer Hawgood from the Sabres was named the tournament best libero.

Sa-Hali also placed three players on the all-star teams.

MaKenna Cleveland was named a first team provincial all-star, while Caet McCorkell and Linnea Brickwood were named to the second team.
