Salmon Arm RCMP looking for owner of another set of stolen tools after initial recovery and return

SALMON ARM, B.C. — An initial discovery of stolen tools has led Salmon Arm RCMP to find the rightful owner of another set.

On Jan. 4, RCMP say they were told of a cube van that possibly had stolen tools inside. RCMP say officers searched the vehicle and found numerous items from a break-in that was recently reported. The tools were returned to their rightful owner.

In a news release issued Friday (Jan. 17) evening, RCMP say they found 16 other construction tools and items suspected of being stolen. Police have been unable to find the rightful owner.

Anyone who’s missing several tools is asked to contact Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044 and be prepared to provide detailed descriptions such as unique markings, brand name and tool type.
