Victor Kaisar - Reporter / Radio Anchor
Victor joined the CFJC Today news team in November of 2024 after six years at Radio NL in Kamloops. He grew up in Calcutta, India, and hated everything about the news until he made the move to Canada as an international student in August 2011.
After graduating from Fanshawe College with diplomas in radio and TV journalism, Victor drove across Canada and spent two months as an intern at Newcap TV in Lloydminster and about four-and-a-half years as a radio reporter/co-host at CKBA-FM in Athabasca before moving to Kamloops in 2018.
Outside of the newsroom, you’ll find Victor hosting trivia nights at bars around Kamloops or refereeing soccer games in the summer months.
Victor enjoys whatever little spare time he has going to concerts and sporting events, binge watching TV shows and movies, and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen.
He also likes to believe he’s the king of dad jokes.
