Lafreniere, Behm react to NHL Central Scouting mid-term rankings boost

KAMLOOPS — Two 17-year-old Kamloops Blazers’ forwards saw their NHL draft stock boost on Tuesday (Jan. 14), when the NHL Central Scouting mid-term rankings were released.

Nathan Behm is ranked 31st among North American skaters, denoting his potential to be picked in Round 1 of the draft.

He was a potential second- or third-round pick on the preliminary list that was released in October.

Meanwhile, Tommy Lafreniere jumped up to 86th among North American skaters, a substantial leap from being a potential sixth- or seventh-round pick on the October list.
