Three suspects arrested after break-in at Hillside Drive business

KAMLOOPS — Three suspects were arrested after a break-in at a Hillside Drive business.
Kamloops RCMP say officers were called to the 1000-block of Hillside Drive at around 1:30 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 9) where suspects were reportedly stealing from multiple storage containers.
“Thanks to updates provided to the responding police officers, they were able to quickly locate the first two suspects nearby and arrest them,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn states. “As part of the investigation, two other suspects were also arrested soon after, and stolen merchandise was recovered and returned.”
In a news release issued Thursday, RCMP say one person was later released without process, while the other three were released with court dates and conditions. Police add that one of the suspects was also wanted on unendorsed warrants. His matters are before the courts.
