December 13, 1932 – January 3, 2025 

It comes with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Eleanor Irene Stewart at Gemstone Care Centre on Friday January 3, 2025. 

A loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be remembered always. Eleanor will continue to be cherished by her loyal husband Harvey, children Ellen (Mark) Brown, Dawn (Rick) Beaulieu, Marshall (Shelley) Holmes and Darrell Homes, Gordon (Pam) Stewart, Carol Stewart, Michael Stewart and 19 grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the caring staff at Gemstone Care Center for making our last days with Eleanor heartfelt. 

A Celebration of life for Eleanor will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour St.
