LOGAN LAKE B.C. — Nicole Hampton-Montgomery has been elected to Logan Lake Council following Saturday’s (Nov. 23) by-election.
Hampton-Montgomery got 172 of the 308 votes that were cast to beat her two challengers Karley Millhouse, who got 91 votes, and Carrie McNeely who finished with 45 votes.
The District of Logan Lake says the by-election results have not yet been certified, with that expected to happen by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Hampton-Montgomery will fill the seat that was vacated after the passing of Council Marion Bell in mid-July.
