Upcoming action film starring Lou Diamond Phillips shot in Kamloops, Logan Lake and Cache Creek

KAMLOOPS — An action film shot in Kamloops, Logan Lake and Cache Creek will be released in limited theatres across Canada next week.

IndustryWorks Studios says the film Get Fast stars Lou Diamond Phillips of Young Guns and Stand and Deliver fame, along with Lee Majdoub, Fei Ren and James C. Clayton.

Get Fast is about a professional thief tracking the abductors of his partner in crime and ends up in the territory of a merciless drug lord. Phillips stars as the Cowboy, the crime syndicate’s hitman.

The theatrical release with the Kamloops Film Commission will screen at the Paramount Theatre on 503 Victoria St. on Friday, Nov. 22.
