February 16, 1946– October 28, 2024   

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marc Fontaine on October 28, 2024, at the age of 78. Marc was a cherished husband to his loving wife, Tanya, a devoted brother to Lise (Bill), a proud father to Steven (Amber), and an adored uncle to nieces Kelly (Jed) and Jessie (Rob), among so many others. 

Marc’s life was a testament to devotion to family, charisma, wit, and exceptional excellence in his long career in Beauty Industry sales. He was a master of pranks and jokes, always leaving everyone laughing. Marc’s passion extended to his beloved dogs, the Whippets he worked with in racing, lure coursing, and dog shows. They adored Havanese, Chico and Peso, who he spoiled and who spoiled him back. They look for him now. 

The Shuswap Lake was his preferred playground since his teens, where he enjoyed countless hours on his many boats, from small aluminum crafts to jet boats, cruisers, and the mighty Pontoon. Marc’s presence on the lake was as strong as his willingness to help friends and family whenever needed. 

Marc’s presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew him. Join us in raising a glass in his honor, offering hearty cheers to him as he moves on. 

There will be a small service for Marc in 2025, details to come.
