KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers scored four in the second period on Saturday night and held on for a 6-4 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors.
It was the visitors that got the scoring started at the Sandman Centre with Nolan Paquette netting his first of the season. But only 42 seconds later, Max Sullivan would equalize for the Blazers.
It was a five goal middle stanza, with Kamloops responsible for four of them, including a hat trick for John Szabo and a single from Nathan Behm.
The Warriors would claw back to within one goal in the final minute before a Emmitt Finnie empty netter iced the contest.
