Permanent emergency department entrance at Royal Inland Hospital ready to slide open this week
KAMLOOPS — Two years into construction, Royal Inland Hospital has reached another landmark in the building of its new emergency ward.
Interior Health says starting on Wednesday (Oct. 23), the public is asked to use the department’s new permanent doors.
The glass sliding doors are located near the roundabout on the east side of the building, under the large sign reading ‘EMERGENCY’ in all capital letters.
Members of the public have been using a temporary entrance just to the left of the new permanent entrance for the past 15 months.
