March 7, 1946 – October 13, 2024
Ronald Thomas Little, 78, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024.
Ron was born March 7, 1946, in Vancouver, B.C.
He was predeceased by his sister Maureen, twin brother Rick and his niece Lorraine.
Ron is survived by his sons Ryan (Sacha) and Quentin (Lucy), grandson Flynn, nieces Traci and Connie, and his wife Liz.
Ron loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and swimming and traveled through Canada, Middle East and Europe.
Liz would be his close friend, partner, wife and ultimately his caregiver after his stroke in 2008.
In recent years he would spend hours on his scooter around the parks and rivers in Kamloops where he spent most of his adult life. He always had headphones on, listening to music from his youth.
His sense of humour left a lasting impression on family and friends.
Defying mobility issues and countless other ailments, he considered his life a miracle and generally had a positive outlook – often saying “hallelujah” and referring to himself as “Rebel Ron”, “Ronny baby”, or “Daddio”.
The family is thankful to the caregivers and medical staff at Ponderosa Lodge Kamloops and those who helped him and Liz get the formal care they needed.
No formal service will be held.
