Doerkson re-elected comfortably in Cariboo-Chilcotin

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Cariboo-Chilcotin will be represented by a familiar face in the next legislative assembly.

The riding was never close as the reporting came in Saturday night (Oct. 19).

Incumbent Conservative Lorne Doerkson is going back to Victoria with 70 per cent support.

His only challenger was Williams Lake city councillor Michael Moses for the NDP at 30 per cent.
