Aberdeen resident was home Wednesday when someone broke in: RCMP
KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for tips on a break-in at an Aberdeen home that happened while the residents were inside.
The incident happened Wednesday night (Oct. 9) in the 8:00 p.m. hour at a home in the 1100-block of Hugh Allan Drive.
Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says a person living there heard a noise, went to check it out and found the front door open. A person was seen running away from the home.
“The suspect may have gained entry through a window and was last seen running through a narrow concrete balcony leading to a parking lot,” said Evelyn in a news release. “The incident is believed to have occurred about 30 to 45 minutes before police were called.”
